I may have mentioned this before but Simone Weil when discussing there issues discussed and made a distinction between ‘legal rights vs obligations’ and how power structure rationalize ways in which to twist the logic to continue to exploit the vulnerable and to justify their aims…. i see no difference here .

No , what we have she says is an obligation to help our brother which cannot be unbound by ideology

Thank you, I will take a look at what Simone Weil has written. 100% agree with the obligations, these definitions are a smoke screen to keep up the killing and starvation.

I am out of my mind seeing the terrible world around us! My Iranian family is in Teheran 3 days without water or food. I tried to call the German government, but there was no clear answer. It’s a crime!

Who will be able to help?

Churchill was not a ‘great’ man. He said and did many horrific things, that proved just how racist he was. He was a white supremacist, who evidently believed in colonialism.
