The boy in Gaza asked "Where are the Arab regimes?" - We should ask "Where are we?"
The time for raising awareness about Gaza has passed it is time to start articulating an Islamic alternative to the world.
On the day of Arafah millions of Muslims men and women will gather for the Hajj, for the soul purpose to worship Allah (swt). Rich, poor, old , young, black, white, brown from every region of the world unified by their belief that there is No god but Allah and Mohammad (saw) is the final messenger of Allah.
The same belief that has kept the Palestinians going throughout the last 18+ months of the Zionist genocide. It should be the belief that brings other Muslims to their rescue, that motivates the Muslim armies to act to save starving women and children.
But nationalism and corrupt regimes interested more in their own survival than that of their brethren has meant the Muslims are left to forward videos and share images of our children berating the Arab and Muslim regimes, rather than berating the regimes on our children’s behalf. We must ponder this point (including myself) are we cheerleaders from afar or are we willing to account the Muslim regimes ourselves?
This may seem like small point but the video of the young boy who has lost his mother and still refusing to accept the Zionist aid if it means his humiliation should be a lesson to all of us.
How many times have our nations accepted and pleaded for help form those who have nothing but ulterior motives against us?
How many times have we been sold lies about the United Nations and the democratic process that is going to save us from Kashmir to Burma to Palestine to every other place Muslims are humiliated?
Yet we have no backbone to simply say No! and Allah (swt) help me if I hear someone telling me to write to my local MP.
If we are writing to our local MP’s it should be to highlight the abject, total and utter failure of the democratic system to stop the livestreamed annihilation of a people.
If our son can refuse food whilst starving in order to save his dignity we should do better at rejecting the ideological systems that make all of this possible in the first place.
We need to go beyond simply raising awareness, that time has passed.
It is a clear reality the rule based system eight billion people on planet earth were sold is a lie, as I wrote previously civilised societies do not wait for a legal limit of ‘genocide’ to be met before doing something about it.
Only barbaric and immoral ideologies such as capitalism say ‘never again’ and then actively arm the Zionists and shed crocodile tears from afar.
The way forward is clear.
The Muslim rulers must go and be replaced by Islam and those who are willing to do their Islamic duty for the people of Gaza.
The Muslim armies must move to liberate and protect the people of Gaza, Muslim or not.
We should be articulating an Islamic political alternative to the world that is trying to understand how humanity could allow Gaza to happen.
Humanity isn’t the problem, its the systems that govern humanity that have failed, only Islam can change that.
We should not be ashamed to say that!
May Allah (swt) answer all our dua’s and those of the Muslims on Hajj.
Eid Mubarak
I think this is a cogent argument. Because it is truly so clear that the structure and principles of the Western world, and the Western-influenced and controlled countries in West Asia and elsewhere outside the West, being incapable, failing to intercede on behalf of their brothers and sisters being slaughtered en masse, and in fact enabling the killers and in many cases actively encouraging and participating in the gruesome, frenzied bloodbath, should not continue, but rather be replaced. I know very little about Islam, but I know very much about the Muslims of Palestine, and of other regional states, and I have no doubt that this situation could never occur were they dominant, and in charge. Never, ever. Look at Yemen. Look at Jordan. Western-inspired rulers of many of these countries steer them away and actually prevent them from carrying out the responsibilities of their faith, but I don’t see Islam permitting a genocide. Supposedly Christianity and other faiths of the west would also compel adherents to stop the genocide, but the largest group of people who refer to themselves as Christian, Christian Zionists are really all Zionist, and no Christian. Just as the so-called Jewish Zionists actually defile and distort Judaism so much that it cannot really be said they practice Judaism. So replace the Western regime, if possible –which I think it’s not, unfortunately – because our response has been a shameful, hideous, monumental failure.
Your Arab brothers gave up on you decades ago when they realized what despicable people most of you are. Just look at the PLOs track record when they lived in other Arab countries - nothing but chaos and mayhem.
There’s a reason why Egypt’s border with Gaza looks like this:
